Scheduling Reminder If you need to make an appointment with Pastor Matt, please be sure to contact Stephanie directly at gs.binghamton@gmail.com.
Often when people come to speak with Matt after the service on Sunday, he’s already been working for over nine hours, and doesn’t always remember to put it into the calendar. This can cause double bookings or forgotten appointments. Please keep in mind that the office is closed on Mondays and Fridays, but you can always leave a message. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Good Shepherd Food Pantry Clothes, food, and shelter are the necessities of life, but food to feed the body is the topic for today. Many families in our church and community don’t have the means to properly feed their families, so pantries like ours are essential to their well-being. Those of us who can afford groceries can help those who can’t by keeping our food pantry stocked with healthy and nutritious foods all year long. Those who have to utilize the pantry appreciate those who keep it filled so much more than they can possibly know.
Items needed: canned meats and tuna, peanut butter, jam/jelly, one box meals, canned vegetables and fruits, rice in small packages, spaghetti sauce, instant milk, instant potatoes, instant breakfast (lower sugar/no sugar), soups and stews, and anything else you’d like to bring.
Personal products, paper goods, and cleaning supplies are also gladly accepted.

This Week
This Sunday’s Sermon will be based on James 5:1-6, and will be given by The Rev. Matthew Kennedy.
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten.Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days. Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.
