What’s Happening at Good Shepherd This Week
Kennedy Vacation The Kennedy family will be continuing their vacation through the remainder of month of August. All classes will resume next week. Please join me, the vestry, and the staff of Good Shepherd in thanking all of the faithful servants that helped to fill the gaps, allowing the Kennedys to have a restful time.
Please refrain from contacting Matt for any reason other than an emergency until next week. Tyler and Jon will both be available for regular office hours, and the office will be open as usual.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study will resume this Tuesday, September 1. This class can be watched in person at 360 Conklin Ave. in the parish hall, and can also be viewed online at this link.
Thursday Evening Bible Study will also be resuming this week. The first class will be Thursday, September 3 at 6pm. The class can be watched remotely at this link.
Friday Morning Men’s Breakfast will continue to meet.
Mission Groups All Mission Groups will be resuming soon. Please contact Jonathan Groves for more information.
Women’s Bible Study The women’s bible study is still paused for the time being. Please see Christine Osgood for more information.
Youth Group There are no youth group meetings from August 1-September 6th.
First Meeting of 2020-2021 Youth Group will resume regularly meeting on Sundays from 6-7:30pm at Good Shepherd.
Sunday Morning Worship and Christian Ed
Both the 8am Service and the 10:30 service will be held in person at Good Shepherd each Sunday. We ask that if you come into the building for the services that you wear a mask unless you are unable, due to health reasons, and that social distancing be practiced at all times. Christian Education will still be live-streamed and is open to the public, however the class is being taught in the outdoor area in the tent near the garage. The 8am Worship service will not be live-streamed, but the 10:30 service will be available to experience online as well as in person on the property in both the sanctuary and the outdoor worship space.

Christian Education will begin at 9:15 and will be available at this link.
The current Christian Ed series is called We Are All Theologians and is being taught by Tyler Van Fossen. If you missed last week’s class, you can catch up here.
The live-stream of the 10:30 service will be posted on Facebook each week. The stream will begin on Sunday starting at 10:20am but the service will not start until 10:30am. You should be able to access it at this link. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you will still be able to view all of the services, classes and studies.
You can download the bulletin, including the scripture readings if you click on this link. In the bulletin, you’ll notice that there are links in the offertory section to take you out to two different means of giving electronically. If you would like to send your tithe electronically, these are the best ways to do so. You can still send your tithe in by traditional mail as well.
